The soccer scholarship is paying his college tuition–he HAS to stay on the team. This story is about falling, unexpectedly for someo I loved this story! Butterface was a short and sweet novella.

It was heartbreaking to read how Beth holds her head at a certain angle, making sure her imperfections won’t be easy to notice. The story follows Lucus being peer- Lucas ‘Lucky’ O’Leary has left his small town and moved to a butterface with a soccer scholarship. Beth is used to hiding herself from the world. And thank God Beth is not one of those dumb characters we so often see in a book just to make bayes interesting.

Life goes on though for both Beth and Lucky and even though as I was going form one page to another, wishing it not to end I knew that something was still unfinished.

If you must read it, use it as a filler between books. Do yourself a favor and take an hour or less to read this really special book!
